Let\u2019s discover it together!<\/p><h2>Relax and fun in the Marina di Pescoluse<\/h2><p>The town center is mainly developed around <strong>Via Puccini,<\/strong> as well as the main course, where you can find many locals open until late at night and stay without suffering the stress caused by the crowd in those of Gallipoli or Torre San Giovanni.<\/p><p>There are many souvenir shops, rotisseries, pizzerias, newsagents and supermarkets to meet basic needs.<\/p><p>About <strong>beaches<\/strong>, are available both free beaches and bathing establishments for a fee, in which we rent umbrellas and deck chairs. At nightfall, they become small open-air <strong>discos<\/strong>.<\/p><h2>Culture and traditions<\/h2><p>Marina di Pescoluse, in addition to being a magnificent seaside resort, has important points of <strong>historical interest<\/strong>, starting from the <strong>dolmen Argentina<\/strong>, a monument of hypogeal-megalithic origin, so called in memory of Argentina Graziadei.<\/p><p>This structure consists of two main elements, namely the entrance and the grave.<\/p><p>Another place worthy of mention is the <strong>Monumental Well<\/strong>, a suggestive work totally made of <strong>white local stone<\/strong>. Other typical local buildings are the \u201c<strong>pajare<\/strong>\u201d, erected with the same technique of dry stone walls used in the past by farmers, who often used to stay in the countryside without returning home.<\/p><p>Today in some of these buildings it is even possible to stay, as rented as holiday homes.<\/p><h2>A visit around Pescoluse: Torre San Giovanni<\/h2><p>Lovers of nightlife will undoubtedly love <strong>Torre San Giovanni<\/strong>, an important tourist center where there is a sparkling summer atmosphere. Along Corso Annibale you will find several local restaurants and shops where you can go shopping.<\/p><p>About the nightlife, it is animated by clubs, concerts and shows of all kinds, because the Pro Loco of Ugento organizes here its initiatives.<\/p><p>Other places not to be missed near the marina of Pescoluse<\/p><p>Another town located in surrounding area of Pescoluse is <strong>Torre Vado<\/strong>, famous for its market full of typical specialties such as fried fish and \u201c<strong>pittule\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Here there is also the <strong>Coastal Tower<\/strong>, built in the sixteenth century for defensive purposes against the Saracens and restored during the first half of the twentieth century.<\/p><p>In the immediate northern point of Pescoluse rises finally <strong>Posto Vecchio,<\/strong> in which harmoniously alternate small stands, private bathing establishments, stretches of free beaches.<\/p><p>To immerse yourself in the unspoiled nature, it is advisable to go inland, as characterized by <strong>centuries-old olive trees<\/strong> and plants of the Mediterranean scrub with a heady scent.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marina di Pescoluse is one of the most beautiful and evocative places in Salento, so much so as to be compared to the Maldives.
